My Chocolate Cake
Annyeong~ :)

I did chocolate cake last night~ :)
Well, actually kaninang 3 a.m. hihi~ I also made chocolate chip cookies since I bought chocolate droplets last Friday but was not able to take photos dahil naubos na ang cookies. T___T So, let's focus on the chocolate cake~ Yey~ ^___^

I decided to make one because I'm planning to make cake pops later. :))
I had hard time last night kasi nawawala na naman yung panlasa ko. :(
At first, I don't even know how it tastes. Buti nalang kaninang umaga natikman ni mama and she said it tastes like the store-bought cake. ohaaa! *insert grinning face* hihi ^___^

I haven't make any frosting yet later nalang so I can make the cake pops.
This will be my second time making cake pops. ^___^
I'm excited to make one sweet craving as always kahit na ang fail pa rin ng panlasa ko. Shet! :(

My cough and cold ~ super annoying~ one week na even I have meds. :( Damn!

Okaaaaaaay, here's the cake recipe. :)
 
Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups flour
3/4 cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 vegetable oil
vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water (this is the magic ingredient kk~)

Procedures:
  • Preheat oven to 175 degree Celsius.
  • In a bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients.
  • Then add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  • Mix for 3 minutes with an electric mixer.
  • Add the boiling water and mix it thoroughly by the use of spatula. (It will look runny but that's where the magic starts. Lol~)
  • Pour evenly into the greased pan. (I did use a round pan 10 x 2 1/2 inches.)
  • Bake for 30 or more minutes. Do the toothpick test. ^____^
  • Cool before removing from the pan. (Though I didn't remove mine. Lol~)
I baked mine for more than 40 minutes and made two round chocolate cakes.
It's super delicious and even the texture is good! :)))
